SMA Expands NEPA Compliance and Environmental Support Services Across the Mountain West

Souder, Miller & Associates, Inc. (SMA) is pleased to announce the expanded offering of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance and related environmental support services for public, private, tribal, utility, transportation, energy, infrastructure, and land development projects across the Mountain West.

SMA helps clients move projects from concept through planning, permitting, funding, design, and construction with practical, agency-compliant environmental documentation and technical support. Services include NEPA screening, Categorical Exclusion documentation, Environmental Assessments, Environmental Impact Statement support, purpose and need development, alternatives evaluation, affected environment and environmental consequences analysis, mitigation planning, environmental commitments tracking, public involvement support, and agency coordination.

SMA also provides the technical studies and field services commonly needed to support NEPA and related environmental reviews, including biological resource surveys, threatened and endangered species review, wetland delineations, waters of the U.S. evaluations, cultural resource support, environmental site assessments, permitting assistance, GIS mapping, and coordination with agencies such as EPA, USDA, BLM, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, state environmental review programs, and tribal, state, and local reviewing authorities.
